A neighbour of mine has a 1946 Wurlitzer 1015 that has developed a few issues with the record selector mechanism.

Is there anyone near High Wycombe (or that could come to High Wycombe) that I could recommend to fix the issues and give the machine a once over?

Cheers,

Paul

I do not know anyone that would look at that on site.

It is not my era really. I would soon get rid of that 78 mech :)

Martin the delivery guy ferries a load of machines around to Discomatics.

You would be best shipping it with Martin to discomatics - think its Mansfield. He does a nice job and does not overcharge.

There is also www.jukeboxparts.co.uk They have a page for mobile repairers. May be someone on that site, but I know down south a few 'nightmare' engineers exist. I know someone who gave a guy a 60s Rock Ola to repair and he did a runner.

A lot of things on this era you dont have in the back of your van! Some things have to be made.

This guy is someome I used to know - have not spoken to him for years.

He is in Fleet Hampshire - may be worth a call.

Or Lawrence who is Essex from memory.

So here you go........ some ideas.
