Can't you just go to the local glazier?
I'll have to go for some 4mm, I was under the impression 5mm was harder to get in the UK. I just thought I'd ask anyway.

Pinball heaven stocks it but you have to pick up from Leeds Brum or Preston.
@steve brum had some last summer but maybe sold them all.
