Worst place for rubbers to break ever....

During the last league meet my Demolition Man on Steroids suffered a broken rubber, no shock there but where it was, was a real pain in the back-side.

It was the sling-shot by the jet bumpers, so I has to take out most of the wire-frames, then the two ramps, all for a fecking busted rubber...



I had the same with WOZ the rubber under the munchkin loop playfield by the lanes, I had to take the mini playfield off and loads of other stuff...

Got me thinking about what is the worst place others have had to deal with a broken rubber?

Junkyard, The back right hand side underneath the main ramp. Had to take the ramp, the crane, the massive car target plastic and then another plastic off. I left it for about 9 months when it broke on me before

A trick that will get you out of a hole is to staple the rubber back together .I've heard superglue but never tried it.

I had to change the same rubber on WOZ. There is a really good video on Pinside that shows how to change without actually removing the mini-playfield, just need to loosen it!

Just did a heap of those, all dry as a bone - if they were there at all. Understood why after removing 5 ramps...

For me I think it was SF2 my first pin , it was the one under the spinning flipper on the playfield !

Indiana Jones - the long rubber on the right hand side going up to the captive ball - plenty of things to come off to get to this one!
