Sold Williams WPC Field Test Machine

Well i gave £200 for my System 3-7 tester about 8 years ago, so with todays prices add a nought on the end ;)

I've just been sent this by another member. Obviously this is missing the boardset and displays. Interesting to note it's also missing the volume like my one. So I guess that wasn't used in the end? (Volume is in settings?)

Hahha - in that case I'm WELL out!..... I was thinking more like a couple of hundred quid!

hens teeth Paul. most popular board system as well. I'd love a system 11 one but would be lucky under 1k . Only big operators had these so very few to start with. We have a 6803 rig which has been a godsend as swapping boards in stuff like party animal asking for trouble

Would it be easy to make one from a wiring loom? not that I want to but have one if anyone does

Nice thing to have if you work on boards day in - day out.

But the eBay one went for £1600 its worth buying a wpc game.

Years ago I made a switch matrix and lamp matrix tester. Was pretty easy.

I've never seen a wpc95 test rig!

Step down?

UK to US

it wouldn't need a step down transformer its a wpc transformer the reason its alpha numeric is because it came out when bop / funhouse came out I've owned three of them and Steve p will tell you I still have one. to convert it to dot matrix you need to change the transformer as the wpc 89 one doesn't have the voltage windings nice tool to own if your fixing wpc 89 -94 pcbs

Just build your own ... all you need is the boards, a transformer and a pile of wire.

I've built several of my own, so far I have Bally 6800, Williams System 3-7 (plus Hyperball mode that you won't get on a factory one) and System 11.

Slated in to build next is WPC. I have already acquired a transformer and power wiring loom for it. Just need a few months when there aren't any project games lying around or a pile of WPC stuff to come in for repair.
