Anyone got a good working PSU for Williams System 9 and and/or original alphanumeric displays (for Sorcerer). Fed up of my project gathering dust waiting on other people....

Think may be same PSU for other Williams Systems.

Thanks.

The power supply for that era games ought to be the long-serving 'D 8345' circuit board, introduced during production of Black Knight and retained until Taxi debuted a replacement. Though by then it was being used without solenoid and lighting functions, i.e. simply for logic and display power. The reduction began after the first few System 11 games, e.g. in an F-14 the board still had everything fitted, while in later games like Swords of Fury it didn't. The barest example I've seen was for Banzai Run.

I didn't think that Sorceror had alpha-numeric displays, but the 7-digit, 7-segment ones also used for level 7 games. Colleagues at work said it was turned down because it wasn't an alpha-numeric game.

PH seem to have new XPin seven digit displays but no orange (preferred) and no Xpin PSU's (and not getting any more).

Another shout for anyone with working originals before maybe having to order from US and cost of shipping/duty.... :(

Got PSU sorted and turns out I only need 2X seven digit displays..., no-one got two good working original displays spare to sell in UK?

Ta.
