Wanted Williams Reed Switch #20-10293

Don’t a reed switch work with a magnet ? Loads of reed switches on eBay I’m thinking a diy repair would do the trick.

It's a reed/magnet combo device, finely balanced I think. I've seen posts on pinside describing the process of replacing the faulty reed but I would rather not attempt that!

I have Sega ones. Don't know if they would work?

I know a guy in the states who is remaking these for wms games. Essential items that are much needed for many games

I tried the Sega one, which I also happened to have around - It doesn't seem to work inside the game, though it could detect a ball right on top of it. Not sure what might be going on there.
