Does anyone know where I can purchase some EM (2") Red Williams EM Flippers. All the usual suspects are out of stock and no idea when they will restock. They need to be new as I am renovating this machine for someone and they have asked for the proper flippers to be fitted They need to be red with white lettering. I may eventually spray and lacquer some standard white ones but not sure about getting the lettering to look right.

Are they 2in. metal ones or 3in. plastics ones?
I am not 100% sure as currently they are the standard 2" White (blue lettering) I suspect they should be the 2" metal ones PBR are out of stock with no date for restocking

I doubt if PBR will ever stock metal ones again. The usual Williams metal ones have their name stamped in them and it's not difficult to restore those. Plastic ones will either be hot stamped (depressed) lettering or raised. For metal ones, providing they arent cracked, they can be restored by cleaning, carefully digging out the old lettering and spraying red and then add the white and sand the surplus off for a nice clean set of letters then lacquer the lot. I've done that on lots of metal ones to good effect.

Thank you for your reply. Sadly the only ones on the game are the standard white plastic with hot stamped lettering. I may try spraying some old white ones but getting the lettering right will be tricky. Even if lacquered , I doubt that the paint would last. I guess my customer will just have to put up with white ones. I now kick myself for dumping 4 or 5 Chrome pairs when I moved 15 years ago. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Chrome ones are gold nowadays and I bet you are kicking yourself but hey ho,such is life.
If you know anyone with a Cricut/cameo machine, you could easily make a pair of lettering designs and then use transfer tape to affix to the new painted flipper bats so little risk of ruining spacing, etc. Or a print/ signwriting firm could do them if not very busy.
