Wanted Wide body glass

Hi,

I am looking for a sheet of wide body glass in the Surrey or Hampshire area, new or good used condition will be fine .

Please let me know if you have one available for sale.

you can usually get a sheet of 5mm toughned safety glass cut to size for about 20 quid from a glaziers,unless you want original

I'm expecting a new batch of anti reflective "PDI" glass to arrive early December if you wanted a sheet of that. If not I should have a pretty decent sheet of standard glass spare when it does if you prefer. I'm located near Gravesend in Kent.

Unfortunately you are all a little too far from me - I am trying to source one locally as there is a reluctance to mail them (for obvious reasons!).

@stevebm1, I like your suggestion - is this pretty much the same type as used standard? If so I will investigate with a local company.

I had surprising difficultly sourcing a backglass locally as not every glazier has the facility to toughen the glass. So check this first.

Then you need to get the size perfect as once toughened it can't be adjusted!

I never had a problem,first local one to me(cornwall) ordered it direct from pilkington,I had to wait a week but it cost me £18 for a standard and £20 for a widebody
