I remember a while back that Phil from Pinball Heaven was doing a run of 'new' TZ's? Manny was making the cabinets and they were advertised on the PH website.

Did they get made? Did anyone on here buy one? Are they still in the pipeline? (not the pub).

There was a problem with the quality of the playfields.Mirco have now sorted said problem, as for using new cabs that won't be happening. They will be made just going to take a little longer.

Yeah he used to do high end refurbs. Not sure why he stopped? Maybe something to do with chancers trying to sell battered machines for the price he was selling his refurbs

Possibly getting harder to source decent candidates , at fair price ...by the time you factor in all the time and costs could well not be worth the effort.

He had them on his website for some time. I wondered if maybe he didn't get enough interest and knocked the idea on the head?

Hi Daz, what was the problem with the pf's because my BN micro WH20 pf is crap, almost like a sticker on wood?? cheers Andy

Yep Ivan's right.
Expect the TZ's to be a little more expensive when they show.

I didn't rate the quality of Mirco's TZ playfields to be honest. I went to Holland to buy one, he had 8 on his stand and I couldn't find a good one amongst them and came away empty-handed.
Everyone had black bleeding problems around the roll-over switch slots.
On the other hand, my Mirco MM playfield is stunning! Been over it with a fine-tooth comb and can't fault it. (and I'm very fussy).

Hi Andy,
Yes the Mirco TZ playfields seemed to have a problem around the inserts, the clearcoat looked like it was lifting. Replacment playfeilds have been sent so work will start on them soon.
Surprized at you having a bad Wh20 playfield mine was spot on. Was it normal clearcoat or ceramic ?

The one thing I don't like is the colour that should be red , its a vivid pink. Apart from that they are spot on.
Yes my MM was hand picked by myself and its A1, very happy with it and I to am very picky.

Can't believe you went to all the trouble of making sure it was nice then getting scratches in the clear from the comb :p
