There's an opportunity for CGC but they're not able to manufacture Cactus to any useful timescale so I'm not sure they'll exploit the gap in the market.
JJP's last two releases probably don't inspire confidence and Stern seem to have crossed the line of affordability for many.
So there is an opportunity for CGC to make another reliable/well built game at prices which are lower than their competitors. They just have to show that they can manufacture and distribute them on schedule.

Both Phil and the sales manager at CGC have told me they're releasing a new run of MMr early next year.

This reminds me of a weird javascript bug we were chasing one time. We couldn't work out why the function parseInt was getting replaced with pInt after we migrated to live. Turns out it was the client's swearword filter :-/
