Saw this earlier and it brought home how Sterns choice of music pins makes a lot of commercial sense.

Genuinely surprised at how long Aerosmith hung about in the top 10 sellers. (Especially as it was during their frankly **** early 80s period)

Also shows how shockingly bland the music scene has been over the last 10 years

I‘ve heard of Drake. Couldn’t tell you anything about him but would guess he’s some R&B bloke who goes “yo” a lot.

I felt really old though seeing the name Luis Fonsi. I’ve honestly got absolutely no idea who that is. Yet they are one of the biggest artists in the world. Is he a rapper?

Turns out I do know a song by Mr Fonsi. I just thought it was a Justin Bieber song. Unlikely to make it onto any of my playlists.

Did a search there, have heard that dispacito song before, not sure who I thought it was tbh, maybe Enrique iglesias i guess.

better than most of that rap stuff which I can’t listen to, other than some Eminem, I guess there is probably more but not worth trolling thru all the cack to find the diamonds

interesting watch

Stern build pins that the folks in the company will like.

Thus choice of bands.
Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Aerosmith.....

Stuff that 50+ year old white american males like.

I wouldn’t bet against an Eagles pin eventually emerging given the size and demographics of their US fan base.

I also realised that Kiss and Iron Maiden aren’t in these top 10 lists but I suspect if there was a similar list of live earners then both would be in there.

Ugh. The last 10 years of “Rock“ music.Coldplay, Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran all in the best selling list.I‘d take the Joe Dolce pin over those in a heartbeat.

given the choice, it’s Andy Stewart, Donald where’s yer troosers super LE for me

I went to see Eminem at Wembley Stadium with my sons, just need to go and see Drake now😎
Rock pins don't do it for me, Disco Maiden ain’t bad though😁

I can’t remember what but I remember reading that eagles has some ownership issues with the license/IP.

I’d like to see Stern push the boat out a bit. A Beastie Boys pin and I would be looking at my first NIB.
