Heh, so i've been away from the scene for a while. Rocky & Bullwinkle is still in bits and i've still not got around to sending the playfield to Chris. I've had a few expenses lately which have delayed things and now i'm focused on the up-coming wedding. Hopefully i'll get back to the restore after the summer.

However, in the meantime i've been digging around and wouldn't ya know it - after all the hassle I had finding cabinet decals it turns out they're now available to buy.

Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else who was after some. Personally I prefer the new ones i've got anyway. Of course it means my cabinet won't be 'factory fresh', but then to be fair it wouldn't be with these either as the original cab didn't use decals and was screen printed.

Oh, and in other news. The playfield for Rocky & Bullwinkle is now listed as a possible candidate for CPR. Get voting if you might be in for one and hopefully we can make it happen.

Pinball center seem to recently have many things back in stock that you just couldn't find on the market. The hand plastics for t2 were a real pain to find, but then suddenly pinball center had them. I ordered them immediately, but they both arrived pretty scratched up. Originally they said they would send a replacement out with my next order. As i had made the order specifically for these plastics i explained that my next order might not be for a long while. They said they would send it straight away. Seem like decent guys there

Potential new playfield and new decals - sounds like you're making a Trigger's Broom R&B, just like i've done with AFM! Just watch your project scope & cost creeping upwards, i probably could've bought a brand new Stern for the money that's gone into AFM over the last 2 years... but then again, i wouldn't have a nice AFM if i'd done that :)

They always seem a hit and miss to me. I was very happy when I bought lighted star posts and LED pop bumper rings (before David started stocking them) and the shipping was very fast. About 2 years ago when I had an F-14 they were also the only place in europe I could find that sold the replacement motor for the beacon.

However had a few things like a LOTR upgraded palantir globe that came with no instructions for installation, so ultimtely a waste of money (seriously me and @I TiltAlot looked at this thing for hours and there was no obvious way to replace the stock globe as it had no mountings apart from what looked like a paperclip) and emailing them they never got back to me, and also a sword decal for the sword ramp which looked really poor so I took it off.

I am reassured to know I'm not the only one who has the updated palantir globe sat unfitted in a box - totally baffling, every now and then I get it out and think today will be the day I have a eureka moment with it but i fear I will never solve the mystery of how it should be fitted

I ended up getting Jay's Palantir globe which is 100x better and fitted very easily. Yeah all I could think was maybe the little metal clip was to be used to wrap around the plastic screw that the original one screws into - but trying this all it did was wobble about and look rubbish! Gave up with it in the end.
