Does anyone have experience of any of the above pls ?

A pal with a rural business has been without broadband for three days thanks to a screw up by his provider.

Mobile phone signals across all the networks are very weak at this location and don't work indoors. EE is about good enough but only when maybe 10 yards away from his office.

Has anyone a good and cost effective solution for him pls ?

I suspect that Starlink would do him, but a cellular booster type solution would be much cheaper. He runs a car mot station so needs his mot equipment to.be connected to the Web. Also inbound wifi calls, emails etc. No heavy video or graphics required

Thanks

Don't have that much experience with these but starlink probably his best option but it is pricey, £300 equipment and £840 per year for the service.

He might be able to get away with a 4G router with an external aerial mounted pointing towards his closest mast, I think you can find mast maps online to know which way to point, cheaper option about £160 for equipment and £20ish per month for an unlimited SIM, but that's none business rate, not sure if business SIM would be any cheaper, plus there's the cost of mounting hardware for the aerial.

He should then be able to join his phone to WiFi to get calls etc.
