Hi having some mates over to shoot some ball

Wanted to know if theres a way to stop one player dominating the tournament such that it only tracks that guys high score

So im DAVE and as I own a pin I am expected to win.... I want it so My DAVE top score in the timeframe only tracks once

So rather than it be DAVE DAVE DAVE DAVE on leaderboard cos of my superiority after two days its DAVE JOSH GRET WEBHEAD and the others can get in a tense battle for best of the rest

There's a website called iScored which I use.

It looks like this when set up, players can tap a game name and put their score in using their own phone , tablet or pc. They don't have to have an account so it's simple.
There's a one off fee but I think it's well worth it!

Matchplay type game? All 4 players play the game at the same time, winner get 7 points, 2nd gets 4, 3rd gets 1 and last gets none, then keep track of the points.

Or flip Frenzy type, everyone rotates playing 1 on 1 games and keep track of the winner count.

You need a Matchplay subscription for some formats like Flip frenzy. I believe there's a free trial though.

I thought he wanted more of a high score comp.
Matchplay does do this but I find for friends who aren't really into competitive pinball it's a bit too complicated using Matchplay.

Yes that works but do want to keep track of high score.... is it just down to pen and paper rather than functionality in sterns tourney mode youd say is best?

Depends on how many players, it only a few probably easier with pen and paper as you dont keep track of the game scores just the 1st, 2nd place etc points.

I remember years ago at the 8bit flip tournament at Arcade Club the 1st 2 rounds were on pen and paper.

Just put a piece of paper with the machine where they write their names and score.
Or have paper you give out to them individually, like a league

Ok that sounds good. Thought stern would have the functionality to not override haha thanks guys pen and paper it is

Appreciate you
