Hi all,
Looking to put together a test rig for Bally system 11 B/C systems, much like i have for WPC.

Looking for any of the following if anyone has available please :

System 11B/C MPU
System 11B interconnect board (D12313-567)
Audio board (Think it's D-11581??)
Aux power driver (D12247)

Power transformer ( I think it's 5610-12136-00)
Displays (Prefer original plasma ones, if any out there still exist)

Thanks!

Any details of your WPC rig Paul? Is it a repro of their test fixture or something you've made to test the I/O etc

Would love to see any photos

Tim

For 11B & C, the audio would be D-11581*. It was introduced during the run of F-14, which was an 11A game (the video game Smash TV used it too). Though that said, AFAIK 11581 and the earlier 11298 were interchangeable; I tried examples of both in my F-14.

For the Interconnect board, the '567' suffix relates to Jokerz, which introduced 'solid state lane change' using opto-isolator chips on the Interconnect pcb. An earlier version didn't have this. Most games with one had their own designation added, e.g. 553 for Taxi, 563 for Black Knight 2000, usually the differences are the resistors for the flashbulb circuits.

* Except for Jokerz, which used a unique audio board, in stereo AIUI, with the designation 'Pinsound 88'

Can take any wpc89 board and fully test it in situ using the WPC test roms from the test fixture :)
The board at the bottom left allows you to simulate the matix and external inputs (such as coin door etc), the bottom middle allows you to check the Solenoid functionality and flashers, and bottom right displays the lamp matrix :)

I still need to add a GI test indication, however thats in the making :)

Would love to be able to make similar for Sys11 B/C - hence the ask!

Hi Paul

I have that sound board and an xpin aux power driver if interested?

Ok so i have given up on this.

Boards are too expensive to pick up from in one go from scratch. If i had a sys11 machine then maybe it would be worth it, or i could use it as a test bed, but i dont, so not an option.

Apologies to @Nevin for saying i would take a couple of boards, and then pulling out (something i HATE doing), however i had to re-appraise this morning... If the lottery win comes in on the weekend i may re-appraise again, however this one is on the back burner until such time as i can afford it/it becomes viable.

you shouild have snapped up one of my £600 big guns!

the 11 cpu has become very expensive. it was £200+ working 10 years ago when a Pool Sharks bit the dust to save an Earthshaker
