Apologies for the clumsy thread name but I’m wondering if anyone based in the UK has some of those circular feet protectors that you place your pinball legs into to protect the carpet etc.

I believe some of them even have little balls or fabric on them to allow for easy sliding of machine? Not sure if they have a specific name. They need to be usable with Bally pinball legs if that makes a difference?

If you have a set of four you are willing to post out to me or know of a website that does stock them, please let me know.

Cheers.

Those rubber ones are for hard floor and they make nudging near impossible.
I use furniture cups from b&q then stick either felt pads or sliders on them so you can move the games easily

Good to hear there’s lots of options then for this purpose. Thank you to those that have contacted me privately and responded to this thread. Much appreciated.

Alan's are similar to what I use, I sent you more info as someone else asked me recently... How they doin @OTRawrior ?

They're super cheap and nicely slidey on my thin (like in a school or office) shed carpet. I really like them ☺

I feel like the circular profile you get on the bottom stops it snagging and ripping at the carpet too.

For me, miles better than the rubber feet.

Kudos also to @Replay and @Safe cracker boy! for helping me out.

I’ve currently got some wooden feet protectors on my Fish Tales and they are fine, although not convinced they’ve made the machine any easier to move!

But I’m keen to gather some of the other options mentions above so I can see what works best for me and different surfaces I may place machines in at home. Also got a VPin incoming so with all the info and assistance given I should have a nice selection of ‘feet protectors’ to try for different needs E.g. ease of moving, carpet protection, fixed position, laminated flooring etc.

Thanks again to all.

I bought rubber ones - big mistake - cannot budge the machine now. Meanwhile for second machine used small pieces of carpet off cut - works a treat on a hard wood floor.
