Last year, I got some non reflective glass for myself and a few others from Roman in Germany. I've been asked to get more by a lot of people over the course of the last year and I can now get some. The cost is around £135 per sheet delivered to me and after last time I would want a deposit of half in advance of doing the order. I'm checking on whether he has any widebody in stock, if he does, it is around £150 per sheet.

Please post here or pm me if you want some so I can get firm numbers and a definite price

Deffo 1, Poss 2 here :)

Ask how much it is with collection - may be able to make a saving picking it up rather than having a bulk lot delivered!!

And yes, i know he's in Romania or wherever it is!

Tried to do that last time it worked out more expensive, plus he builds a wooden crate to house the glass (which he charges 50 euros for from memory). To make it cost viable there needs to be a minimum of 20 sheets preferably 25. Orders for 12 sheets so far with a further 5 or 6 tentative. For those who asked ref collection, I am in Uttoxeter in Staffs.

Is it just me that can't justify the cost of this glass.
Yes its a great product and really does look great when installed, but at £135 a sheet. wow.
Either I have turned into my Dad or I am a tight old git.

It's not just you.

Has anyone thought about using opti white glass instead? Cheaper and pretty much invisible. They use it a lot for aquariums now. It has no green tinge like normal glass makes it look like a cube of water

you'd have to get it tempered, is that possible?

i'd far rather worry about picking out little tint itty bits of safe cubed glass that i can't hurt myself on, than nasty sharp shards that could sever all my tendons

I hadn't thought about it having to be safety glass tbh.

I will see if I can turn it off cuz it's annoying

i understand how a lot of peope are put off by the cost - yes it aint cheap.I was full of trepedation after I first got a sheet a few years ago - as was ChesterPete who bought one too.
However, sice then we both believe it was worth it and now I have 3 sheets of it.Really helps reduce the glare
Shame Roman aint do other wide body sizes as would put one in my Ramones pin
