Walking Dead Crossbow Issue

Sometimes the crossbow doesn’t launch properly, it doesn’t cock back and fire full power.

Is this an issue with my machine or do I need to do something first before loading the crossbow to make it fire properly?

Have you got the replacement loom installed?

There was a problem with the pin. Initially my crossbow started to play up then strings of lights started to flicker like a Christmas tree.

Both solved instantly by changing the faulty wire loom

I’m not too familiar with general maintenance but it’s not outside my ability with a bit of research. Thanks, will do some research on the loom.

It’s just the little white bit that doesn’t always pull back to launch the ball, if that’s the loom?

The loom in this case as a long black and red wire (see photo).

It might not be the cause of your problem but I suspect it is. Hopefully Phil at pinball heaven has them for sale.

Replacing it is a simple 2 min job.

I’d also recommend installing a shaker motor as the coding for it is pretty cool, especially on horde

Had to disable the shaker on my Road Show as it was marking the wooden floor but will consider this [emoji106]

Also have you got the lates ,code on the game - that solved many crossbow issues for me. Think it’s 1.60
 
On the back there is a dat of manufacture - is it an LE or premium?

Ok then for sure get the wiring loom that John mentioned and do a code update.
 

Walking Dead Crossbow

I've had a few issues with my Walking Dead crossbow since buying it new and have even had the motor replaced. After it started playing up again e.g. returning to the home position before having a chance to fire it, I noticed that the firing pin didn't always return back to its starting position...

Appears I’m not the only person who has experienced this problem. I’m sure I can fix it. Thanks again
