I've got a ready to go VR setup only a few months old I'm looking to trade for a nice pin. This is all the top end required for full room scale VR.

HTC Vive boxed like new cost £750
Top end gaming PC, 3 months old which was over £1600

All in warrenty and mint condition.

Before you ask, no I'm not bailing on VR, my job is working for a VR studio and I have access to lots of kit whenever I need it ;)

im using the oculus rift cv1 ! bloody brilliant cant leave it alone vr is the future in gaming

Just picked up my vive recently for £630 plus PC for £1100

The best gaming experience I've ever had, well worth the plunge

If you end up selling I would be interested in just the Vive if the price is right :)

I have spent some hours watching utube vids and decided to get the Vive, my PC is upto the job and so far have downloaded Apollo 11 and now downloading TheBlu, so if you want to do a cash deal let me know before I order online.
Many Thanks

Well I'm in for the poor mans VR on the PS4 although I bought a new Samsung galaxy s7 edge which came with the Gear VR, well impressed with that, nearly soiled my underpants with a couple of the spooky aps, no good coasters available though which is a bit of a shame, it should tide me over until October though.

Just looking at trades sorry.

No problem, I just ordered one, can I ask how long yours took if you ordered it from Vive ?
I did start the order from PC world only for it to tell me they had no shipping date, so payed the extra £57 and ordered direct.
I hope its as good as it looks :)

Are you going to get the new, more powerful PS4 for the VR ?

I was in the original pre order hell a few months ago. I understand things are pretty much normal now and it ships in 2-3 days.

You made the right decision, the VIVE is in a whole league to itself, you will love it :)

Games you need:
Job simulator, budget cuts, the lab, VR pool, space trainer, tilt brush and portal stories.

Well I guess it would depend on how the existing PS4 handles the VR, I will be pretty lashed if I have to spend another £300 or whatever it costs just for the VR side of things, depends on what hit I would take to sell my PS4, but knowing what I'm like.... yes I will upgrade.

I'm with you. I will wait and see but I bet the current PS4 struggles with the driving games on VR (which is what I predominantly play).

How do you know, have you seen it running?
Good news if that is the case and why release another more powerful console which suggests the stock PS4 isn't up to the job?

Yes I have. Unfortunately I am unable to give you any more info than that, but suffice to say you won't be disappointed.

I have read reviews and they all seem good, the only real negative is the controllers may not really be up for the job.
Can't wait, can you give any hints on the best titles to buy, I have a shortlist but want a good all round experience really

The PS Move controllers work really well in VR, like a lot of Sony hardware they were ahead of their time. They're not quite as ergonomic as the Vive controllers but they're a lot more intuitive in button layout...which is important when you can't see them. A weird thing I noticed with the Vive controllers is that if you hold them up to your eyes they jitter slightly which seems to be caused by the Lighthouses spinning lasers vibrating the housings...bit of a design issue. I can't talk games, sorry!

I took the plunge on a Rift and a decent PC.

I'm blown away by my experiences so far, it really is a leap forward in gaming. It is almost impossible to describe the feeling of being there you get when it is setup correctly. My highlight so far is Project Cars with a decent force feedback wheel. It's mindblowing.

That is the game that I am interested in on the PS4 VR.

I got my vive, but so far not too happy with it :(
My graphics card was not upto the job, so £500 later thats sorted, but I cannot get the controllers to pair up, been trying all day and I see many people on the forums have the same problem, have tried new firmware and all sorts of things, reloaded windows today and still the same just with windows and vive vr installed, so it might well be going back if I dont smash it first............

Sounds a bit weird. I've set up a Vive and it wasn't exactly straightforward, but that was mainly down to display drivers etc, the controllers paired with no problems.

Will sell for £1700 if someone wants to buy a ready to roll system :)
