Hi all,

I am looking for someone that is able to print off full pinball cabinet artwork? Ive looked local to me and can't find anyone.
I have the artwork in digital format for WH20 and Congo but need them printing off on a thicker material (like radcals use) in a high gloss

I do not know if Pete still does Bally/Williams decals.....

Have often wondered why nobody prints decals on thicker material so you could just - in effect - go over anything!

There is a guy that sells just the digital artwork... not sure how "legal" it is but its available

To be honest with decent resolution artwork it wouldn't be too hard to vector a rasterized image. . . it's got me thinking actually.

The Radcals are printed on plastic. There is no "thicker" vinyl material that can be used to my knowledge, unless its laminated with something else on top. The thickest material I know of is the hard coating we use for SideBlades but this isn't glossy and also has a gritty texture.

Regardless, this isn't something I can help with unfortunately. You could just buy the actual Radcals though since both games are available.

You'd be surprised. When we restore cabinet artwork there is usually 50-60 hours of work that goes into redrawing the art. You can't just scan a cabinet, hit the auto vector button and then expect it to print 100% perfect original quality cabinet artwork.

Colour matching is then another dozen hours because if you get a blue or red just a tiny, tiny, tiny shade wrong (based on a 30 year old game) you end up with idiots on forums like this screaming like babies that a 2 inch section of their precious new vinyl graphics is "wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off" which in turn means that Retro Refurbs are total scumbags.

If making these things was easy, everyone would be doing it. That's why I prefer to sell alternate artwork and mods now because I got tired of everyone telling me I was doing it wrong.

I'd expect colour matching and re-drawing of outlines at least so that isn't particularly prohibitive. It's just whether time spent and paying for printing gives a significant saving to buying them off the shelf.

Excuse my ignorance but where is your stuff listed please Pete, I'd be interested to take a look.

I order to print in a Shop called REPROART all my artworks. I have a special treatment and all my orders are printed at maximum quality. Theremore I order to print in best polimeric vinyl, latex ink, 16-20 inkjet slices and I order an extra protective lamination with U.V. filter (glossy, mate or rough).

I ordered to print my "Indiana Jones Pinball Decals" (WILLIAMS) for one of my users last week. I photo all I ordered to print for my users:

"Indiana Jones Pinball Decals" (WILLIAMS) reproduction printed in vinyl with glossy protective lamination (photo 1).

Note: Pay a little more for the best quality possible, of course, but it is worth it! My restoration must be the best, not only like a digital file.:)

Greetings!
