Reading today how popular video pinball is getting. I recently sold a pin and the buyer has got into pinball via playing on his ipad. This explains to me why ebay prices are rising. An already limited supply is being soaked up by people getting into pinball via phones/ipads etc.

99.9% of all the pinball I had played was on the PS1 before I got my 1st machine, I think there are a lot of aspects which are contributing to pinball demand and video pinball is certainly one, can't help feeling that things also go in cycles, I was at an arcade the other night and got the impression that there was something missing, all them slot machines and shoot em' ups etc were OK but there was definitely a missing ingredient, we all know what that was but maybe other members of the public are beginning to notice also, I think pinball is on the up in general, the investment aspect and pinball shows have played their part but maybe the new generation is also up for something new, basically something old but new to them as machines have long been wheeled out of these locations as a rule.



I think most people get bored of their lot, that unfortunately is just human nature, we are always looking for something new to stimulate our senses, playing a real pinball machine for most is something that they have yet to try and something which may now be getting scribbled on the list which ultimately leads to ownership and demand.
