I’m sure I’ve seen a “what’s it worth” thread but I cannot locate it. Can anyone advise the approximate value of a (non Pro) Metallica? I think it’s going to be my next target - I love playing it at Flip Out! Thank you

there is the price and then there is finding one.

Yeah everyone wants the one with the hammer. I was offered one a while back for £8500 if I recall correctly. Should've had it but bad timing while I was selling pins for a house move. Gutted.

The 'how much is this table wortht' thread got moved in the recent forum shakeup, it's not in the noobie section anymore, it's in the for sale section:

I knew I should have held on to mine for longer. 6.9k with LOTS of add ons 4/5 years ago.

But that's Pinflation

There have been LE's on here for £8.5k & £9k in recent history.

I paid £7k delivered for my low play premium about 2yrs ago, upgrading from a Pro.

There was a Prem on here for £6.5k about 1 yr ago, which I felt was underpriced & it went very very quickly.

My opinion (which is biased) is expect to pay about £7-£7.5k for a Premium, maybe less for a worn stock machine, quite possibly more for a nicely modded low play machine.

It's just such a well-rounded game with the right balance of toys, shots, call-outs, dots, lighting, rules, artwork... Some find it boring & wood-choppy, and i have to admit i go through phases of playing it, but it's a firm guest favourite and more fun with friends. It just rocks.

I would have loved a MOP-LE….
Settled for Prem, looks great if you purple candy powdercoat the metalwork.
It’s a fantastic pin to own, they do come up for sale, usually all at once then vanish.

Just after I bought my Pro last month, another forum member bought a lovely modded to the hilt Premium for less that £7k, which was a bargain I think👍🏻
Very happy with my Pro and am not missing thr Hammer/spinners/better GI (can play Neil's one at Flipout to enjoy those things) but can see the attraction to a Premium/LE and would maybe trade up to one in the future if the opportunity arose (I am a huge fan of the band though and in a 1 pin only situation due to lack of space)
Hope you find one; brilliant game!

I know you are looking for a LE/ Prem, but why not get a pro to tie you over till the right machine comes up for sale.
A good friend of mine will soon be selling his Metallica pro completely standard machine in like new condition.
At least you will have a machine to play while you are waiting for a LE/Prem. You never know you might fall in love with the pro.

Ok thank you. Do you know how much he will be asking for it? I am in no great rush. Just about to go on a week holiday and ideally I will sell my new JP2, but the sale is a nice to do as opposed to essential

I will find out, it will be going up on here in the machines for sale thread and a donation made on completion of the sale, once he sends me loads of pics.
So if you are looking for a Metallica pro in great condition and fully original then keep a look out on the for sale pages.
