Calling all Tron owners....

I know some usbs aren't compatable with the code update tech but I've tried all the one I have and no joy. I want to back up Tron before I try the cooler music version kindly emailed to me by another forum member but it just says 'insert usb' once it's in there. I'm used to women not noticing when it's in but this is even worse!

I haven't got a clue about formatting usb stick so can someone post me a stick that for definite works in Tron and I'll post it back with a mystery gift to say thanks....

Cheers,

Jon

Sure - PM your address.

I haven't had an issue with usb sticks updating code but backing up to usb is a completely different matter. Has anyone managed to back up?

I backed up FG a while ago, I'm sure it's a USB I'm trying on Tron but no luck. I don't want to try updating the code without having a backup first incase there's a deeper problem so to me backing up is a test as well as keeping the old code/scores etc...

Don't think it backs up scores, but could be wrong!

It's more a way to dump code to a stick to update another same game nearby, without the luxury of a laptop & internet.

It wont back up any scores or settings within the game. Once you change the code - you loose everything!

You should use a FAT or FAT32 memory stick, but you have to be careful when you format memory sticks on a MAC.

These work on STERN and as its Argos you should be able to get one locally.

Have use the 8GB versions for a while.
