Hi All,
I know this is a common problem which I‘ve seen plenty posted about here and out in the wild.
A summary so far:
F112 keeps blowing, a point of interest is that before the fuse blows there appears to be a surge of power that causes all lights on the playfield to go bright before the fuse goes.
I‘ve gone through the tests of the BRs on the driver board and fliptronic board and all are good.
By luck rather than judgement, when installing the fliptronic board back in the the back box I omitted to connect the EOS (J904), and flipper switch (J905) cables. On powering up fuse 112 did not blow. On reconnecting those two cables the fuse blows.
I’ve gone through a resistance test of the 4 flippers primary/scecondary coils with values being as expected, I’ve also gone though for a thorough check under the play field to see if anything obvious is out of place or touching where it shouldnt.
it’s ovbious theses a big short short somewhere, but I’m out of ideas. Any suggestions very welcome !
Cheers,
Simon.
