Looking for a ramp to replace the broke one on my machine, it's the ramp that leads up to the battle the power game. (picture attached)

Thanks

Is it possible to weld it ? The metal ramps on my shadow had been welded on the underside by a former owner

yeah I may try that :) I ordered some Quiksteel epoxy that may do the job...

When we get set back up at work (flooded) I will weld it for you if you want.

That's a really kind offer mate! Thanks Andrew...I'll let you know how I get on with the epoxy, maybe it will hold.

I do have a welding kit but it was my dads and I daren't use it on something like that...last thing I tried to weld ended up looking like it had the Pox!

I wouldn't even bother with the epoxy, it won't last and you will only end up getting it welded later down the line.
Most engineering places will weld it for you for a small fee or take up Andrews kind offer. Once welded no more problems.

Yep, I used to work in the fabrication business, don't use epoxy. As said earlier you need to get it welded. It shouldn't be an expensive fix.

I TIG weld broken ramps. That means you can fuse the original weld back together without adding more metal. It essentially looks like new.
We are expecting our new welder being delivered this week (we had three and they were all fully submerged in the flood) so if you give me a PM later this week I should be able to do it for you. I don't want paying just cover your own postage.

That's really kind of you Andrew, what a nice thing that you do! sorry to hear you got flooded though that doesn't sound good :(

No it's not good. My engineering department was under 3 feet of water. However we have good insurance and are progressing in rebuilding it.
