I wouldn't even bother with the epoxy, it won't last and you will only end up getting it welded later down the line.
Most engineering places will weld it for you for a small fee or take up Andrews kind offer. Once welded no more problems.
I TIG weld broken ramps. That means you can fuse the original weld back together without adding more metal. It essentially looks like new.That's a really kind offer mate! Thanks Andrew...I'll let you know how I get on with the epoxy, maybe it will hold.
I do have a welding kit but it was my dads and I daren't use it on something like that...last thing I tried to weld ended up looking like it had the Pox!
No it's not good. My engineering department was under 3 feet of water. However we have good insurance and are progressing in rebuilding it.That's really kind of you Andrew, what a nice thing that you do! sorry to hear you got flooded though that doesn't sound good
