Trophy Titles Top 10

Evening all, what would you guys class as the top 10 trophy titles, I guess it is open to opinion.



Here is what I think may qualify

Hmmm .... I think TOM is debatable - plenty about, people do seem to move them on quite often, and doesn't as yet command the insane prices of the others.

TZ and MB would need to be in there for sure. Black Spiderman or Gold LOTR would be a tough choice for the last spot in place of TOM

I also thought IJ but struggled to see it as a trophy even though it deserves the status........... do Sterns qualify?, seem to get the feeling that trophies are pre LOTR and no Stern would come close in that case. TZ seems to be readily available so does that make it a trophy?, think TOMs are now worth more than TZs?? GnR is moving up the ranks fast on the Pinside top 100 so the Searg has a point methinks even though I would never dream of owning one.

Can't stand Axl vocals but like some of the songs , seen them in 88 during their heyday but band pins are a no no for me anyway.

Prefer the normal over the gold LOTR(I presume ya mean LE?)-tho I hate the "skill posts"

Prefer can off SM black,but normal red Spidey translight but in a backglass-which they sadly did not do

I would have thought it was way to soon to put a pinball thats only been out a few months into the trophy league of pinball tables.

And I know how much Stormy rates his Lord of the Rings, plus its tried and tested and one of the better Stern tables.

But then again what the f*ck do I know ?

Have to agree, when I think of trophy titles I think of time served appreciating classics that are hidden under covers in heated rooms, just released titles which have yet to stand the test of time do not even register, JMHO.

I also think they tend to be lower production numbers - 3K or less



Once you start getting to 6k+ games like Theatre, there are still enough around that you can lay yr hands on one without too much trouble, and there are still quite a few battered/player quality ones knocking about. Obviously applies to big run games like TAF and TZ too.



You try though to lay yr hands on a MM, MB, AFM etc in *ANY* condition these days without paying a premium. Thats the difference.
