Russ, posted about these in another thread. I have contacted the guy that does them and wondered if anyone else would be interested in a set?

Might save a few quid if we could do a bulk deal.

If a few people were interested I could make a few more enquiries. Other option would be to source the raw blades and get them chromed over hear but believe the costs are stupid.

Right, have been in touch with the Pinball Refinery about prices. Not cheap but if anyone is seriously interested I will make further enquiries.
Chrome hinge and rail set with EL panels is $475
Black hinge and rail set with EL panels is $385

They say they can do the black to match the standard Stern armour finish.

Other option is to buy rails, get someone to laser cut, chrome and buy the panels. May be a bit cheaper but initial enquiry just to get the rails and hinges chromed is £140-160 plus shipping etc.

Of course there is also the dreaded duty to pay.

Phew that is pricey.

Might just hold on for those. I'm not going to see them playing anyway...
 
I'm still interested, just not right now. The usual tidal wave of bills is upon me right now so middle of next month may be better.
 
I got a couple of sets made up years ago. The rails came from Pinball Life pre laser cut and then I had a set chromed up for my Tron and then sold the other. @ianw has now got the Tron and Harry Bolt had the other set.
Got the EL panels etc in the UK. The hardest part was finding panels that fitted behind the side rails due to the depth available. I’m sure I can dig out the info from somewhere if interested. Had to solder 2 together for the side rails as I think they were for a printer display or similar.
