hi guys i am in the progress of hunting for a pin machine. would a standard machine fit in my car?? its a vauxhall astra hatchback the back seats fold down. would i b able to fit one in my car?? don't mind too much if i have to tie the boot down!!

Yeah, but we had to fully disconnect every jumper from the PCBs to enable us to separate the back box from main table. Very daunting for a first time pinball table buyer. But it was worth it. :). Although I've said I'm never going to use the Nissan Note to transport a pin again.

I only just manage to get a machine in my Astra Estate with nothing to spare so I doubt one would fit in the saloon?

guess i will have to work it out when i find one!! i have a vw van that it would defiantly got in bit its top speed is 50mph so it makes any long journey even longer!! hopefully i can find a close one!!

What's the height of your boot entrance? The Nissan Note is 28" which would have been a tight squeeze with the back box slid down the main body. This wasn't possible with FT because the Fish Topper added too much extra length when sliding down the back box. I'd say you'd need 30" boot height and about 60" length to do it comfortably.

will measure the boot height when i get home but i think it would be a tight squeeze and some of the table sticking out the back of the car!! (assuming i have completely removed the back box)

Just hire a small van, the experiences of the rest of us trying to fit pins in to cars should be a lesson!

I was surprised to find a standard Williams fit into an Audi A2 with no backbox adjustment needed. Just slips straight in!!

+1 on this. I always hire a van for the day and it just saves a load of hassle. The place near me does a SWB Transit for £30 which is way more than needed for 1 pin but it just makes things really easy.
