I purchased a jukebox on ebay and the seller said he could get it delivered to me for £60, which I thought was fair (from Huddesfield). By the time I take a day to drive there and back and put fuel in it sounded okay.

The item (the ebay seller said) was picked up 10 days ago by REDWING. Prior to him shipping it he did not tell me that Redwing was the courier.

The stupid thing is Redwing are based in Bilston which is WV14 post code which is 13 miles from me.

They wont return my calls and the seller said they wont return his.

Doing a quick eBay search, the company do get slated on UKAC and it is mainly for delivery time.

Anyone had issues as well?

Do I just get ebay/PayPal in the loop and get my money back? or do I wait.....

I've found Chris from redwing a good helpful chap try him. But I was told by Jamie the coinopking on fb that redwing were going under and he wouldn't risk stuff being with them incase it got locked in when they did. Good luck let us know how you get on....

Thank you for the contact Mr Rox - at the end of the day I do have paypal protection and the seller is being apologetic. I have already got the ball rolling within eBay and we are in the 10 day 'trying to work out the situation' process.

After sending a text to Chris I found that I have actually had stuff collected from me before by him. That was not an easy one either, he let me down in that situation saying his phone died and he was stuck in London.

Should have paid the extra and got Martin to do it

Hindsight is a wonderful thing @CHRIS B PINBALLS - however here are my thoughts:
1 - It was bought on ebay - and I paid for delivery via paypal.
2 - I am covered for the jukebox not showing up, etting damaged and if it needs returning - I will get paid this money back.
3 - The seller in my mind would pack it better if he sends because of the above.
4 - If Martin was to of collected, all responsibility is on me!

Looking back on it - I honestly wish I would of either not bought it or personally collected it, but £60 sounds better than taking a day off work. You know what vast sums of money we make in this industry Chris (yes - its sarcasm sunday!) :)

I found them good and quick on the TFTC I had delivered a couple of years back. I was under the impression they were no longer in business.

Hope it comes through for you.

Wouldnt let them touch one of my games or even drop anything off, absolutely f useless. Turn up late or not at all...

You should just pop over and see what's what at the depo!
I would do if I knew the item was at the depot. It is only 13.8 miles from me on google maps but its nearly an hour each way. I do want to turn up to a locked unit. They also do no have a landline so I guess that place is not attended all day like a proper office.

had them drop off a cheap fruit machine once (seller recommend) was about 2 months late lol (but they did say they was busy) It was very damp though! must of been left in truck quite a few nights.

The cr@pness continues

Had a phone call Monday promising me delivery that day or Tuesday by 1pm. The boss was going to put it in his own car and bring it over.

It is now 1:50pm Tuesday. Had a phone call promising it was now coming on a van at some point today...... oh. Or tomorrow on the back of the bosses car (sounds familiar!)

Used Redwing twice now. Both times been fine. Dropped off an arcade racing game yesterday to me. No complaints but was a bit worried by the comments about them about to go under so messaged Chris about delivery and everything was great and delivered without any hassle.....and as i’m in Scotland that’s unusual.

Why risk it when Martin is so reasonably priced?
Martin is a great guy and i use him regularly but he only comes to Scotland once every 2-3 months so need to use another courier in between and Redwing for me have been reliable. Martin isn’t cheap for Scotland either as he occasionally has to pay for a hotel so the price is higher than you guyz down south...understandably though. Just had no issues with Chris either and this post about them going burst panicked me as they had already picked up my game. All good though. And communication was fine. Cant complain really.
