Hi allI have a Williams Strato Flite originally from H and it has the mains power soldered onto the 225v lug
will the pin run better if it is changed onto the 240v lug, thinking i may add a bit more to the bumpers and flippers
you are not putting any more voltage in because your mains voltage doesn’t change. so the higher lug generates less output voltage than the lower lug. they’re designed to both put out the same output voltage based on their specified input voltage. by putting your mains 230 v into the 225 lug you’re getting slightly higher than planned output voltage, whereas connecting to the 240v lug will give you slightly lower output voltage.
I thought most transformers had 10% +or - tolerence on 220v,so you should be fine running 240v on that lug,or have I been misinformed?,it was an old retired electrician who told me
