Toughest Shot in Pinball??

So what do you guys think is the trickest shot to hit consistantly?

I have recently bought a TSPP (which is awesome btw) and I've had it for almost a week now. The left ramp is such a bastard to make. I reckon I get it maybe 20% of the time. Maybe even less. I am getting better at it but it is certainly a tricky shot.

Can any one think of any games with an even tougher shot?
 
Without a doubt the Tron LE inner loop... :eek: the PRO version is ok as you can bounce the ball off the targets to achieve it but on the LE they are drop tragets so no bouncing is possible... :oops:
 
I find a fair few shots on a many pins tricky

, right ramp on TOM, right ramp on BSD unless I am in the zone that day, STTNG right upper flipper shot into borg ship is hard as nails IMO unless you have a strong flipper etc, same shot on TAF can be tricky as it feeds from thing eject, that lot spring to mind, ...............now, now............no laughing.



Not the toughest shots in pinball but a few that can slow you down.
 
I can do the lower ramp on mine, it is a repeatable shot since I rebuilt the flipper, changed the bat, the solonoid and rubbers. Plus the base plate and the bushes. Hum, there is nothing left in that flipper that I originally bought, maybe a screw was re-used. :suspect:



I can't get the lower swamp when trying, only by accident. Trying nearly always results in chaos and a ball drain. I also rarely get into the graveyard on purpose.



On MB, I can't get the swamp creature, ends in disaster. On other machines I still just hit randomly, enjoying the pretty lights.
 
The left loop shot on JP is tricky. "Threading the needle" through the jet bumpers is satisfying when you do it.

Always found the start scene shot on Shadow waaay harder than it looks.

Upper left lock,and stargate shots are tricky on Spirit too:confused:

Final Draw scoop on WCS. I've bricked that shot so many times when trying to start multiball. It's even worse when you need to hit it to start the world cup final against Germany.....GOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!!!

Good to hear you're enjoying TSPP - I also found the left ramp a total nightmare to get consistently, but I think I was actually worse at making the left orbit shot through the pop bumpers. As a result I only saw Pretzel Multiball once!
 
WH2o - Extra Ball shot ....not only hitting it, but not draining instantly from it :eek:

- Boulder Garden ...thru the pops is tough when you need to make it, I usually use other methods to get that flashing shot rather than risk it careering out of control.



Starship Troopers - 'Nuke Planet' hole, can't seem to find the sweet spot on the right flipper or mini flipper, usually fluke it

Earthshaker - Shelter scoop, trying to hit this with the Aftershock timer running is always tough.



Tommy - Right ramp, needs lot of practice to sweetly nail that ramp consistently.

Find the extra ball a breeze but through them pop bumpers, it's easier to get your cash out of a NatWest bank than get through those.



Just goes to show, each shot can be a different challenge for different people, suppose that's what makes pinball so damn ace

I used to practice hitting the top ball on mine. It gives you one lap and ABC at the same time. Best ever music in a pinball when you get King Of The Hill.

I think my highest ever score was 23.8 million.

Great game.
 
There are some very tough ones that have already been mentioned.



The hole in one in NGG, probably the toughest and maybe best.



The boulder garden through the pops on WH20, although i'm getting better at it, as a pressure shot, it kills me.



The inside loop on Tron LE is ridiculously tough, made it to sea of simulation on the weekend, had about 20 attempts at the gem shot without success before the ball drained.



Shooting the final shot under the top right flipper in super hero mode on spidey, now that is one cool, but tough shot, especially with the amount of pressure on you to make it.



The collect bonus shot on Flash Gordon can be a bitch, actually both collect bonus shots, the loop into the shooter lane and the target on the top playfield, both so valuable and ridiculously tough to hit, now that's good design.

Hole in one shot on NGG.

Can be a bugger to make , But when you have that no lose game and everything goes right, My best in one game is 21 and that was a game like no other. Don't think I will ever match or better that one.

And totaly agree with the White Water boomerang bend shot through the pop's , allways eaiser to go for the suicide falls shot and get it that way.
 
for tough shots, it has got to be the extra ball target on Fish Tales, for most satisfying, shooting the scoop on Dredd with the mini upper right flipper or the ricochet shot on Black Rose.

Oh yes the three bank drop target ricochet on Rosie, very satisfying.

I was going to say the extra ball shot on FT, but the last one I played I didn't seem to have a problem hitting it from a reverse right flipper shot. Think I just got lucky as when you want it its a mare to hit.
 
I always struggled to hit the mode start on The shadow, don't know why, maybe just tight but i rattled that baby almost every time!!

Sooo true - I once got a decent score of 800Million without a single mode being started.
