TOM Motor/Gear box

Hi John,



I searched everywhere for a motor a couple nights ago (mine is spinning, but too slow so occasionally it will not make a full spin and stop) and finally found a source. Would you like me to get 2 and then split the cost of the postage? The insured and tracked price was silly ($80+) but normal post is $17, so I have decided to go for this instead. I was going to order today, so let me know if you would like me to get you one too.

Yeah! Fantastic! Got exactly the same problem. Are you at the Slam this weekend as I can give you cash there?



Out of interest where did you track it down? I've just spent ages looking and the only place that seems to have them is Marco but their website is down.



As an aside I also recently had the pinbits auto eddy thingy added to the trunk sensor which makes it so much better at registering hits but doesn't solve the spinning problem.

Yup, I spent ages too and lots of emails fired off to europe, america and australia - but kimballs came up good. I am going to the slam so you can give me your address (and money..>!) there if you like. Hopefully the postage will stay at what it is for 1 motor, but I will let you know if not. When it arrives the next task will be fitting the damn thing, apparently there is a good website that takes you through each step, but I have not found it yet. When I do, I will post here.
