TMNT Half Shell Challenge

Calling all fellow TMNT owners!

As I discover more about my new game I found the Half Shell Challenge is one of the modes you can select from the menu activated by holding both flippers down. It's a timed challenge where you have to get all 4 turtles back to the lair in the quickest possible time and I thought it could be a fun competition for those of us who own or have access to play the game

I had a quick go now to set a baseline and I'll keep a track in this initial post of the overall champ plus quickest times for each turtle as well, all for bragging rights

Good idea ronsplooter - the Half Shell Challenge is a fun mode and really good for shotmaking practice! Assume you are looking for new times rather than best ever - so here's my effort after a couple of tries today:

Nice one @Jackpot I've updated the first post....I managed to hang on to the Leonardo time for now Yours are the scores to beat though!

Nice idea! Gave this a bash and did better than I thought I would. If only I could be as good as I was on Raphael consistently through a whole attempt or game I'd be very happy

Damn it Neil! I was so happy with my Raphael time

Having more fun with this pin the more I play it, even though it kicks my ass. Keep playing Jurassic Park because I feel I should but end up switching to Turtles after a game. I actually think Jurassic Park is better but I have more fun on Turtles dont know if that makes sense but it just makes me smile more.

There is something about turtles in that you never feel you’ve mastered it - although I’ve not played it anywhere near as much as I should have done.

I really struggle with the middle ramp shot. I'm perfect at the loop shot just ahead of it but then I'm always too late on that middle ramp shot.

I have the same problem, can hit the inner loop pretty well but brick the ramp shot more than I hit it! Michaelangelo time updated

anyone know how the green shots work? they seem to be get of out jail free cards?

Could be wrong but if you get all three i think it spots you a shot that you need.

Took a trip over to Electric Circus to have a go

Turned in to an expensive challenge, as I had to play 3 of the 4 turtles in normal play to even qualify the challenge.

I’ll try get a spin on this sometime soon looks great fun and gives a taste of what stern insider software will bring.
Problem is the missus out of hosi after her Hip operation so I am now Cook, Cleaner, Shopper, school runner and general babysitter to them both.
Only spare time has been spent with Bertha trying to catch up on some orders and my own projects.

Didn’t you just hold both buttons to get to the menu?

Default options are you have to play a game with each turtle to unlock the challenge just once. So if you can’t change the options in the operators menu you have to play a normal game as all 4 turtles before you can attempt the challenge.

I went to have a shot this morning and it said I have to qualify by highlighting each turtle 1st (so 4 games before each try)
Unfortunately I have to do the shopping for my temporary disabled wife after her hip op so it will have to wait till I get a break.
Before I look is there an option to turn off the qualiify option.

yes there is in operators menu, I cant remember exactly where atm though so that's probably not helpful!

Yes - I updated this yesterday as it is one of the menu options. Half Shell challenge - Always Enabled. Much better than having to start games with each turtle first!
