I am asking a favour and seeing if someone can pop a TIP102 in the post to me today as I want to repair a post for IJ and if it arrives tomorrow I have time to do it before the weekend.
The weekend is going to be manic but Weronika is beginning to get annoyed that the top playfield is out of action. ;)

I appreciate your efforts, it should arrive tomorrow morning, I can do it before the suit fitting. ;)
My faith in RM has long gone, it has become a pray that things will arrive not an expectation but when it is something holding you back, I put too much into it.

Reactions: JT.
You come onto my post and don't sympathies with my situation but tell me I am lucky because it "may" come tomorrow? You should know from the pain you are going through that I would not consider myself lucky at all, rather further frustrated as tonight I could be fixing IJ. Yet tomorrow I will be very busy so will have further frustration seeing parts I have no time to fit as I rush about the house sorting out a million wedding things. Or worse, I have to go out and when I come home, that dreaded card through the door will be waiting for me.
No, I don't consider myself lucky..... :mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad::mad: :mad::mad:

RM are crap. I send Roms out - Some arrive at the other end of the country the next day - others 20 miles away take a week. No consistency - other than most take more than the 1-2 days first class should take. If there was an alternative for standard post that didn't involve them i would take it EVERY TIME!!!

I've been waiting 10 days for bleddy waterslide paper. Dunno if that's rm or I've been shafted tho

I once sent a display registered post, totally boxed it up snug and safe even put on fragile tape all over it,when it arrived it was in a thousand bits looked like it had been bent over someone's knee, and the f...ers would not compensate ,I've just got some bits yesterday and the box looks as if it been drop kicked 20 times!!!!!

It was once something to be proud of, it doesn't serve to use the term Royal it should just be called Mail.

I used a company recently, they delivered to something called ByBox which is a locker drop location. They text you a pin and when it has been dropped in the locker, you go over and collect it. It stays in the locker for 48hrs if I remember correctly. The local one is by a petrol station, stays open all night, accessible 24hrs a day.
Internet shopping means a lot more mail delivery, this ByBox idea means I could have things delivered any time of the day and go collect it when I was able to. Cost is the current killer, you can rent a ByBox for £30 a month for 14 deliveries or £50 a year for 28 but it is increasingly looking like a good idea if driving a round trip to the delivery office to pick something up costs over £3 in petrol.

Yes, it arrived. At the same time as the coil but I was meant to be going out for my final suit fitting.
Whilst she was doing her make up, I grabbed the soldering iron, snippers and the fliptronic board. I got that new TIP in whilst she was not even looking and back in the machine before she could smell the solder, which she then did and then told me off.
Back from the suit fitting and I just soldered the new coil in, adjusted the pole through the playfield so it doesn't catch and fired it up. Success, we now have the pole working that stops the ball at the back to let it then drop into "The Path Of Adventure". :)

Now to take the mini playfield off and replace some dead bulbs or it makes no sense up there.

Again, massive thanks to the Sgt who sent out a medic package to get this machine working. I know I was being very impatient but I wanted to get her back into action ASAP.
Next week I expect a few orders to start trickling in that will give me stock of these sorts of parts so I will be able to send out medic packages in the future. :)

And I guess to RudeDog, you were right. I am luckier than you. :p
