Right then, I'm sure you have already seen Martin's great report at Pinball News on what the Dutch guys at Silvercastle are putting together.
Yes, Timeshock.
Does it look good ? Hell yeah.
Question is who's up for putting there name down for one if these bad boys ?

Does look good tbh,and countless people have played the pc version over the years.Could be great to play we will see

Most certainly, although still haven't seen any pricing info yet. This and time allowance for paying up is everything.....

Want to go halves Daz and flip it between our games rooms?

Sounds like a plan John.

They said it probably won't be anymore expensive than the current crop of LE's.

They have an interesting situation where they can't really cut anything from it to make it cheaper...

course they can:

glass? clingfilm costs less
rubbers? the postman just dropped some
legs? just balance it on a table
bulbs? NREQ, only play in a brightly lit room
DMD? i'm sure a cheap tablet would suffice

etc

p.s. gary stern if you're reading this - no!
Admit it, you're Stern's bean counter.

I'm definitely up for one of these. This was the only decent computer pinball table back in the day :) I must have lost a good few months playing this the first time round! and i'm sure i'm not the only one who thought 'if only they could make this for real...'

Good to hear you and Darren are interested in one in case I can't stretch to it...! :D

If anyone hears before I do when the put your name down if you want one list comes out.
Please also put me down for one or let me know.

First I have heard of Timeshock, just youtubed, looks like a decent game, wonder if they will loose that cheesy 80's guitar sound for some pumpin' modern techno ;)

I hope they keep it exactly as the original pc game, except for tweaks to the subway ball movements etc.

The whitewood prototype in attract mode (minus the DMD) at the Dutch Pinball Open looked like the dogs ********. They're hoping to have formal production release in time for next years expo, so it's someway off being finished (11 months or so)...

11 months.
That's pretty quick in the pinball world.

Well most of the solenoids are in place on the whitewood (probably playable but still requires some tweaking) - the game rules / functions already exist and the code is being ported over by the people who wrote the PC game in parallel to the hardware development.
