Hi all - I got a bit of stick last year when reporting some out of box issues with new Stern machines - and have fed that back to Stern - but 12 months on we still get some crackers to deal with - just in case you experience the same with a NIB table
Symptom - flipper not working - left flipper button stuck - right flipper button travels as expected
Issue - flipper switches both installed incorrectly on the cabinet side face - incorrect location - left flipper switch blades jammed into button push body - right flipper button similar but just missing the button assembly
Solution is reasonably simple for this one - remove the switch blade assy and reposition and use the wood screws to relocate - or worst case fill the hold with wood filler and then screw into place after it has dried (in the event that the new required location is just too close to the original hold that is left)
My annoyance here is that this really should be part of Outgoing Quality Control checks, as it is essentially the most important part of the machine - but the testing may just be burn in......
If you get a similar issue (and I am sure there will be more of them as it is just an operator error issue) you will know what to look for![IMG-20221025-WA0001.jpg IMG-20221025-WA0001.jpg](https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/data/attachments/184/184924-41dbb3795e47c03b2d563840b7d1eeab.jpg?hash=QduzeV5HwD)
