Should we have such a thing in the UK?
Nah, set it up somewhere and offer free membership to those who do shifts fixing.... (I know, it would never work)Obviously we'd love it but I doubt it would make any money and the machines would fall into disrepair![]()

I had a dream two nights ago that I visited it, and it was in the Lake District of all placesI know Jamie was talking about opening something like this years ago (maybe not a museum as such) to house all the games he's got in those barns but not sure if that's still his plan. If I ever won the lottery then this is one of the dreams although it would be more private club than publicly open museum![]()
i’m visiting not curatingWere going over that way in August for a short break - any chance you could have it up and running by then ?![]()
I've been told they don't have a lift so getting them up there would be a PIA as well.RetroCollective near Stroud is currently the RMC computing museum on one floor and Arcade Archive in the basement (20 or so cabs in excellent condition with others in the wings being restored) - I have it on good authority there may be extra space above arcade archive where a room of pins could live. Everything on one site - I've suggested it, but pin maintenance would be much more intensive than the videos or 80s computers I suspect.....
They don't and The Cave is on the 3rd floor, but above the arcade which is ground floor where the space is and its only 1 floor up. It'd be a pain, but it's do-able.....I've been told they don't have a lift so getting them up there would be a PIA as well.
I ran into Jamie at Brian Greenough's funeral today. His museum is no longer on the cardsI know Jamie was talking about opening something like this years ago (maybe not a museum as such) to house all the games he's got in those barns but not sure if that's still his plan.
