The UK Pinball Museum

Obviously we'd love it but I doubt it would make any money and the machines would fall into disrepair 😫

with the cost of rental and energy in the UK , I think what PBR are acheiving is the close as we can get it the UK

and sadly public pinball is not as popular here as in some European countries or the US

realistically the only place in the UK that would be cheap enough AND is synonymous with amusements is Blackpool

A guy I bought a few pins from was talking about setting one up a while back. (I believe he did appear on here not so long back too - say he was going to have some machines for sale, garnered interest and then varnished like an old oak table)
Pinball pleasure IIRC

I know Jamie was talking about opening something like this years ago (maybe not a museum as such) to house all the games he's got in those barns but not sure if that's still his plan. If I ever won the lottery then this is one of the dreams although it would be more private club than publicly open museum

I had a dream two nights ago that I visited it, and it was in the Lake District of all places 🤣🤣

Were going over that way in August for a short break - any chance you could have it up and running by then ? :D

RetroCollective near Stroud is currently the RMC computing museum on one floor and Arcade Archive in the basement (20 or so cabs in excellent condition with others in the wings being restored) - I have it on good authority there may be extra space above arcade archive where a room of pins could live. Everything on one site - I've suggested it, but pin maintenance would be much more intensive than the videos or 80s computers I suspect.....

I've been told they don't have a lift so getting them up there would be a PIA as well.

They don't and The Cave is on the 3rd floor, but above the arcade which is ground floor where the space is and its only 1 floor up. It'd be a pain, but it's do-able.....

I ran into Jamie at Brian Greenough's funeral today. His museum is no longer on the cards
