The UK Pinball Hall Of Fame exists to honour those that have made a major contribution to the enjoyment of pinball in the UK.
During the recent Pinball Expo, in Chicago, The Sharpe family were inducted into the UK Pinball Hall of Fame in recognition of their substantial contribution.
This has been achieved primarily through their involvement with the International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) which dates back to the early 1990s.
The award is made in recognition of the longevity and extent of the family’s contribution and the indisputable fact, their impact has encouraged tens of thousands of competitors to enjoy pinball not only in the UK but around the world.
On accepting Roger said “What an incredible honor to be given this award. On behalf of my entire family I humbly accept and treasure this acknowledgement of what we have tried to achieve to support and promote pinball and the industry!!! Thank you!!!”
