I will get my battlefield working!

I have identified a further fault on the right hand side opto board. Can order from USA/AUS but again looking for a UK source if possible.

Part is A-14534

The board itself is pretty simple with only 3 components, if its the opto pair, Pinball Heaven sell them for about £4.

I'm not really a board repair kind of guy!

Can't see them on Pinball Heaven, would you have a link?

Thanks :)

Mine was still playing up after cleaning the sensors, so I tried putting some dry lube on the metal shafts. Seems to have cured the problem for now, more testing needed to be sure though.

Does your shadow have the service opto update thing? A little metal plate thing you screw the opto onto (think it changes the position) also got one of them

Can't see one of those.

Bad day of work on it today, still no battlefield fix and now it intermittently has issues with the sanctum wall, battlefield kicker and even the ball loader.

Might give it a break for a while :(

Bad luck, looks like TS could be one of those machines you spend more time fixing that playing .

My battlefield kicker still plays up occasionally. Pretty much as Phil's guide on the PH website says, the coin slide shafts are meant to run dry, using silicon lube on it only cured it for about 20 games , so I've cleaned it off before the muck gathers.

Mine hasn't got that opto metal plate fix, what fault was that supposed to cure?

Turns out there was a broken wire in the loom about three feet away!

All sorted now and playing nice

Result! I've swapped the opto pcbs over on mine and it has reversed the problem with the juddering going the other way, so am now awaiting some new opto's, should finally cure the problem I hope.
