Having some Shadow battlefield issues and it looks like it may be worn teeth on this piece. Anybody got one or know of one around? looking at £20+ from Australia so far.

Mine's playing up too. Juddering when moving to the right. Is that caused by worn teeth?

Rudi, if Paul is sorted can I buy your's if that's the problem?

I have the same exact symptom. My strip down of the battlefield has only given me this clue, they are not even badly worn to be honest but it does seem to slip more that side than the other so worth a change I think. Other than that it might need a bigger rebuild.

Have both of yours had the little cog upgraded to the metal one? It was a bally service fix thingme (ive also got that kit)

Yes mine is brass too.

Just discovered now in switch test that one of the end stop sensors was triggering randomly when it shouldn't. This would explain the juddering as the power is switching on and off to the motor.

I've cleaned the optos, will try it again now, hopefully problem solved...

Slow or juddering movement can also be caused by poor flipper Optos. Measure voltage sw1 and sw2 on Opto boards. Should be below 1v ideally when button pressed and definitely not more than 2.5v.

Thanks also, will be cracking out the cleaning fluid and voltmeter tomorrow
