The Matrix Hype train by Steve RItchie JJP style !

I’ve only ever played one JJP- the Hobbit and the flippers felt like mush- so long as they’ve fixed that and are snappy, it would be nice to see what SR and JJP can do with the Matrix

I would be very interested to see this. I loved the films (the first one in particular).

Having played Hobbit and Pirates for the first time I was blown away by JJP's attention to detail but absolutely agree about the flippers.

Having has Toy Story here, I didn't notice any issues with the playfield so if they sort the flippers too it will be very good.

Turn the power up on the flippers, they are set around medium from factory.
I don’t believe JJP have Matrix next, sounds like BS.
Last Matrix movie was panty liners.
Unfortunately… it’s Elton Johnny bag.

Would love to see how they do Bullet time. Would be cool if they had some sort of levitation device

JJP games are all the same. Too many multi balls. Modes are lame and code just isn't there.

The large screen does nothing for me. I'd much prefer backglass art and a smaller screen.

They make great artwork and mechs. They just can't nail the code IMO.

Too many MBs, yes JJP have to sort this but it can be tweaked to have less in settings.
Many on Pinside quick to defend quoting to “learn the rules” 🙄
Example: loads of multi balls can be started in Metallica but they are earned by deliberately hitting multiple targets and you only have 4 x balls.
Easy MBs started with 6 balls bouncing around can feel like flailing.
Aesthetically JJP pins look amazing.
Code is in depth enough for home users but needs updates. I feel JJP don’t want to invest time or money here as the sale already made.

Are they all wide bodies too? I'm really not a fan of that format, they feel so slow (not sure if they really are slower, it just feels like that to me because of the extra table space).

No they're not. Dialed in, wonka, toy story, GNR, and Godfather are all standard width so they've made more standard than wide machines.

Reactions: JT.
Wonder if they’ll approach the Dutch guys

Why would they need to? The Dutch one is a home brew machine with no licensing

Great theme hopefully some truth in it

JJP have dealt with getting games out the door

Kind of sorting issues with quality my TS4 has been pretty damn solid and it gets a battering on-site

Next is doing an interesting theme
