Nice to see they are finding solutions to known issues. Not so sure the novice will have the time or know how to do the remedial work themselves. Interesting the wire form issue was not noticed during testing.

Those springs are a pain. Also the coils in the 'trolls' I call them like buring out. Luke Wells put a video up of that.

Sure;y if your game had the original ramp that was faulty you should not be charged for the replacement?

It is so difficult for the manufacturers. Sales volumes are tiny compared to the good old days. They simply do not have the resources to properly design or test the games. The designers and engineers face less competition from others under the same roof, there will be far less cross-pollination of ideas. The customers are, in reality, the game testers.

I think stuff like this is inevitable.

I see they didn't bother remaking the video after Jack placed a ball between the insert and the flap and then had to pull it out because it was stuck  (around 44 seconds in)

Yes - you are correct - but JJ use an awful lot of bally/williams mechs that have been tried and tested. The ORC is really a cross between the ToM trapdoor and the MM trolls.

The thing I would object to is not the fact that things need changing but customers are being charged for a new ramp after spending a lot of money on a NIB game.
