Hi All

My Tftc Topper has been gathering dust looking boring and inanamate just a plain moudling really

as you can see in the picture looks ok on the machine, but it don't do nothing unlike Dr Who FT

Wh2O they can look really good

I can't even fit it on the machine properly due to height constraint. So lets make some changes I think.

Out with the cordless drill and a few well chosen supplies from the the shops.

So several hours last Sunday well most of the day in fact (much to the wifes annoyance) and half the contents of the beer fridge I ended up with this.

Makes a bit of difference and catches your eye I think ,but could it be more interactive well a few e-mails to Dr Pinballsurgery and yes it could do more.

Ebay supplies needed

Several evenings and the other half of the beer reserves some solder fumes and the odd pack of smokes plus a few curses I ended up with this .

Thanks to all who replied and viewed, I have had this in mind for well over a year,a bit hesitant though if I buggered up a good topper

It was only when i came across some pre-wired leds last week that it pushed me to do it.

It also unplugs from the machine for transport etc via a 9 way d plug

Having now seen this in the flesh (er plastic), I can say it is really eye catching. What surprised me is how normal it looks when not turned on.

Very good work all round.
