OK I don't say this lightly but I will be sad to see this go and never thought it would leave but I have 2 incoming pins and being 3 over something has to give, so here’s the first to go my super nice TFTC.
If this was released today it would be classed as a super loaded pin with Shaker Motor, Drop targets, 2 x VUK’s, Kick back, Captive ball, lowering Crypt door under the PF and more.
I just love the wire form ramps looping around like GZ, and even doing a 180 like AIQ prem its a BORG master piece without the worry of the usual old school plastic ramps cracking, yellowing and causing lots of grief so this pin should last forever.
The DOTs are superb with some super gorefest call-outs far from PC with the usual pun humour twist that gives SS a run for its money. This has also got to be one of the best pins I have ever owned for intergration with the shaker motor too. I actually think a lot of the newer pins have taken inspiration from this pin and a lot that should have
TFTC is a deep game with a ton of modes I’ve never got close to completing and will go as far to say IMO this is the best DE pin of all time for me not only due to the theme but the layout and flow. what’s not to like it has it all.
I have spent quite a lot of time along with a good friend and member of the forum getting this looking super nice intending to take to NERG. However I still have plenty to choose from until then but desperately need the room ready for TNA arriving. Hopefully this month
As I am off to Center Parks for the Easter WE with the famalam I will take some detailed pics for anyone interested when I get back but in the meantime a few older pics off my phone and a quick rundown.
I would class this TFTC as Super Nice Players Condition plus a little and I doubt you will find nicer for the price.
The nice bits
Great sparkle paint job to Armour, Legs and speaker panel.
Genuine ColourDMD LED version ( this is not an easy pin to add an colour display too due to backbox limitations and unique Speaker Panel)
Full set of my own Fluorescent Green Plastic Protectors thoughout which doesn’t half make it pop and its got to be up there with my Alien ones for impact.
Side Art Blades which just work in nicely with the theme
Shaker Motor
LEDs throughout inc Backbox and general illum.
Original decals in super shape and not super faded like most but expect a scuff for ding here and there.
All boards look original and in perfect condition with no signs of hacks anywhere.
Full set of new rubbers fitted
It has been in at least 10yr plus HUO that I know of before I became its owner.
Playfield in super nice shape with no noticeable wear apart from one insert that has a small piece of text chipped off.
Probs more that escapes me as ive almost finished a can of Stella and tipsy already being a total lightweight.
not so nice bits
Back right VUK that feeds the upper flipper sometimes takes couple of attempts to kick out but i’m told it’s normal, however i’ve noticed it’s missing one of those fork style leafs to activate the Sw and I’ve found one in my spares. It hasn’t really bothered me so never got round to it.
small nic in art blades but hardly noticeable I done this myself the one time I forgot to chuck my side blade protectors on when lifting the PF
Doesn’t have topper but Retro Dave has one in stock he has put aside for me which would be the finishing touch on this pin.
Aforementioned small part of text missing on one of the mode lenses everything else perfect.
Bear in mind this pin cost me £3k before adding all the above which amounts to over £800 in parts without all the work Involved. It is quite a rare pin to get hold of and took me quite a while to source one good enough and bring it upto this nice example. You may find one nicer at Williams which I kept looking at When searching for one but its almost twice the price and mine cant be far off with a little effort.
I prefer not to strip out the ColourDMD to drop the price of the pin so i’m firm at £3995
If no interest by the time I'm back next Tuesday I will take it over to the marketplace and if no luck I will tombstone and take to NERG as I intended And maybe find a buyer there.
