Does anybody have or know of anybody who has a TAF mid playfield overlay? (The orange cloud above the mansion). Everywhere seems to be sold out. Any help or info much appreciated. Thanks, Jon.

Thanks mate, tried them first as I knew Phil used to stock them. They're sold out now. According to Phil they won't be getting any more as he suspects it was a one off run

Just took delivery of a mid playfield overlay from classic arcades on ebay. If anybody with a TAF is thinking of getting one of these don't bother. The colour match is appalling. It just looks really bad so needless to say I wont be installing it.
Now I feel bad

Bummer. I bought a mansion overlay from Classic Arcades a year or so back and the colour match was nearly perfect. You can barely see that there is a decal on at all and it is far better that it was without it with worn mansion inserts
I got a mansion decal overlay from Best of pinball. Great colour match and also came with a set of individual windows (other part of sheet)

I bought a taxi "carry passengers plastic" from them last year. the quality was just ok I suppose, there isn't a lot you can cock up with that though as it's all red with black lettering on it!!
I guess they get lazy because there aren't queues of people offering the same products!!

Don't feel bad mate. Not your fault. How were you to know? I checked the guys feedback this morning and found somebody else was less than pleased with the same overlay. I should have checked his feedback first!Now I feel bad

I spoke to a guy last year who told me the best overlays were from MAD amusements. They looked the same as the overlays PH were selling. I've e-mailed them (MAD amusements) several time to see whether or not they will be re-stocking but I never get answer.
Maybe send it back for a refund?

I contacted the seller through Ebay but hes refusing to answer any e-mails. Ive had to report it to paypal so hopefully I'll get my money back.
Report as "Significantly not as described". MOST of the time you're almost guaranteed a refund...

Hi Paul, I did do that so hopefully there won't be a problem. The seller hasn't even acknowledged paypals dispute with him. Don't understand his problem, I'm prepared to pay the return postage. It wasn't even particularly expensive. I think it was bout £30
