I was pleasantly surprised with finding a pinball in one of the many arcades on the sea front at Scarborough. I was even more impressed that it was a taf gold with led and in good condition. All working. Impressed. I didn't ask who owned it. But I couldn't see an operator plate or sticker on it. But to be fair I didn't look hard. Played a couple of games. Replays at a very reasonable 48m. Still did rubbish. Nevermind.
Obviously I saw no one else using it. But it made my day.

The machine is just a normal TAF with the updated gold software owned by a local arcade and casino owner. Did you play on the The Beatles Gold int he other arcade?

Oops yes. Thank you for correcting me. And no I didn't find the Beatles gold. Which other arcade is that in?

It’s in the big Gillys upstairs there’s Beatles Gold. Star Wars Premium (Stern) and a Elvis.

Ok. I'll make a note. We are bound to go back at some point. I'll pay them a visit. Thanks.

That taf came from me glad they are keeping up with it am I still grand champ

Sorry Chris. Didn't even noticed who was grand champ. Can't imagine it has changed much as it didn't look overplayed.

It's sad that Addams Family always seems to be the most neglected pin out on locations. I don't think I've ever seen a decent one out in the while

Yeah I made the mistake of dropping £1 in that Elvis five years ago and it was a complete dog back then.

I found that taf last year in Scarborough, whilst on hols.
And was pleasantly surprised how good condition it was in. Played great, although replay score was set low, I was playing it for 30 mins ( missus not impressed 🤣)
And walked away from it with 3 credits left in
Managed to get 134 mil, and my name on it

Found that other arcade also, and yeah the elvis was completely shagged, the Star Wars coin mech was broken, so not accepting coins !
So it just left the Beatles, which I thoroughly enjoyed, great game ( but then I’m a fan of sea witch )

I haven’t stopped think about Beatles since last night. It was so much fun. Hoping to get back to it tonight before we head home tomorrow 🤞🏼

I really like the look of stern Beatles but not sure if it would get old quick?

Beatles is genuinely awesome. That loop is so good to hit off the upper flipper and the machine feels satisfying. At the price a Beatles is I'm just not sure the value is there for me, but if I had an unlimited pin budget Beatles would 100% be in the line-up - and I don't even rate the Beatles as a band.
When playing and remembering the price it made me want a Seawitch more than a Beatles simply based on price.

More than welcome to call by mine on the way home (outskirts of Scarborough) happy to let any members call in and play. Only got JJP GNR LE and Turtles Pro LW3 and a poorly Popeye LOL.

The Elvis is in terrible state and Beatles isn't looking much better they don't get looked after.

I’m heading up to Yorkshire in June, I’ve heard there’s some nice pins, in an arcade in Whitby. Does anyone know the name of it ?

That’s really kind of you! Thanks for the invite, but it’s my wife’s birthday so we have plans this morning already 😊
