It is with a tinge of sadness that I am announcing that the last ever meeting of the Surrey Pinball League. This will be held at my home on Sunday 1st of December with doors opening at 10am and competition games starting after lunch at around 1pm.
When Justin and I started the league, we never anticipated the level of interest that would be generated and quite frankly my little house just can't cope! So far this year we have had 78 different players competitng and each year the numbers are increasing! I would like to thank everybody for their support and attendance, it really has been a pleasure to have such a great group of people invade the house! A big thank you also needs to be given to Thomas at The Pipeline Bar for hosting meets when it became too much for us at home.
Its not all bad news though, there are discussions ongoing about the possibility of starting a London league based at The Pipeline next year so watch this space for news!
As this is the last meet of the year, there shall be a presentation and prize giving afterwards with trophies for the top 3 Overall, Ladies and Children's divisions as well as a most improved player award.
