It's a long shot, but if anyone spots a Colour DMD on eBay or Facebook Marketplace from someone that knows feck all about pinball please let me know!! DHL kindly left my parcel on the doorstep on a busy main road while we were out for the day. Needless to say it wasn't there when we got home.

****ing not happy.

What area are you in Rob? Helps narrow it down if it’s listed and it’s local to you, Cheshire’s a big place and i know a few guys local to me that do list random pinball stuff.

that sucks mate, have you checked with your neighbours,in case one of them took it in?

Macclesfield mate. It'll probably just end up in the bin once they realise it's useless to them.

TOSSERS myhermes left a boxed playfield in a box outside a customers house and wouldnt honour a claim for loss even though courier wrote down - posted through letter box

I'm quite shocked to be honest, DHL are usually really good. DPD are the ones that usually make me wince at the thought of.

Glad it was found.
I am surprised more of this doesn’t happen. Amazon often attach a photo to deliveries when we are not in. Luckily, i now recognise most neighbours houses that they have left it at. Amazon do not care when I complain.

It wasn't found. That was the photo the DHL driver posted to show it as delivered.

Well Royal Mail are doiung it also now.
Stuck a parcel at the door and rung the door bell and run off

Couriers make my blood boil, they're all utterly useless! Hope you find it dude, needless to say it would be absolutely useless to most people, probably dumped somewhere already 😞

i’ve got all courier company’s nailed. i just stay in all day from6 am until 6am the following day. never miss a delivery.

I didn't suppose one of your neighbor's picked it up for you , knowing that you are out for the day ?

Unfortunately my doorstep isn't really visible to the neighbours and most of us don't use the front doors or see each other. I haven't even seen my nextdoor neighbour in five years. Bit of an odd street. It is very visible to anyone walking past though. The annoying thing is that I have a spare CCTV camera I've been thinking about installing at the front but never got around to it.

It’s got worse since a lot of them started to pay their drivers based on items delivered. Can’t remember which courier started that stupid crap but a few more seem to have followed suit. Yodel is without question one of the worst couriers and even worse they have a contract with eBay for their global shipping program or at least they used to.

Not sure what Royal Mail are doing and if it’s just covid related but the last half dozen packages they have delivered for me, they’ve knocked on the door, put the parcel on the door step and walked/ran off.

Happened just last night, heard a knock on the door at 7pm (never known Royal Mail to work so late) no lights on in the front of my house as I was in the back playing on my games. So he had no idea anyone was in or would get that package until the morning, so 12 hours of it sat on my door step in the rain!

Took me less than a 30seconds from hearing the knock to get to the front door and he was already half way up the road getting in his Royal Mail van.

Why can't this be claimed for? no one signed for it, photo or no photo, they're responsible surely?

I'm going to try to claim for it. DHL don't seem to want to make that an easy process though. No claim form on the website. I'll report it to the Police this morning too. I've posted a message on the local Facebook forum asking for it's return before I go through the non-existant CCTV. You never know.

I agree. The photo proves that it wasn't delivered but just left in the street!

I had left instructions to drop it down into the basement window recess out of sight from the street. But he obviously just decided the doorstep in full view was ok.

All the delivery agents are loving the new Covid way of life just now - it’s like a get out of jail free card.
Ring the door bell - drop the package off and run like fcuk!
Delivery times are halved, more money in the coffers, back home in time for tea and scrumpet!

I’ve received 2 x packages recently from DHL from Germany and on both occasions I’ve been home, the guys have rung the door bell, I’ve seen the package at the door, one time the guy was 100m up the street closing his door to Van...... ready to drive off - twat 😂
