I have a C120 - depends on which machine you are trying to put it in....??

I know that this is an old post -but you can use a C120N.... however it needs to be reprogrammed so that the coin output lines match the wiring harness, and they do not match using the default config, unless you rewire your coin mech connector or the 2x5 DIL connector on the Node 1 board
New UK games ship with a modified config for the NRI G13 MFT Parallel mech - there is a reason that I have a wealth of knowledge on this subject that I never wanted to have..... lol
If you are using a multi-coin mech such as the NRI or C120N with one of the new Stern coin doors, you might want to drop me a PM and I can save you some pain if you are planning on operating this or are at the moment - there's a bit of a wiring incompatibility issue - we have our own Technical Service Bulletin, but will push past Stern first before officially releasing it on our website.

Are they??? I thought that everything came with C120's in as standard still!! Oops!
Are C120's still a straight drop-in option for modern machines??

C120s are industry standard in their pinout config and drop into most things - Stern's config is not the same, which is why if you have seen a new machine the NRI mechs have pinball config on the side of them
I think it is coin 4 that is the issue but I have a mapping table I put together this week that I can post if needed - sure that one of the other coins was re-routed physically also - been a long week

Indeed they are different configs. Also for JJP too as well as stern

On a CGC the pin outs are incorrect from the factory. Unless they have changed this since MBrm.
Personally for stern I would not mess. Just get the correctly programmed mech. Link on this post.
