Hi guys. I'm thinking my next pin should be Star Wars and would like to know what a realistic price would be to pay. I'm still hooked on my Surf 'n' Safari :) which I purchased of Dan on here but would consider a trade ;) if anyone fancied it with cash obviously going to the owner of Star Wars or if the price was realistic keep my SnS aswell :D. I've noticed a couple on ebay with large price differences. I wouldn't want to pay over the odds if you get my drift.

cheers

SW prices have gone nuts lately. Personally I would expect to pay £1100 ish these days, it was a £900-£1k pin not so long ago. But with the theme and put on eBay, some starwars collector nut who knows nothing about pinball but wants the theme will pay whatever people are asking. There are 2 distinct tiers with SW. The group price and the eBay price. Then again I guess it could be said for most pins !

Seeing huge variations on SW at the moment. Theres a knackered non working project on eBay for a few hundred quid and another guy trying to hawk a busted up one at silly money.

My advice would be to definately view what you intend to buy. The project pin could be worth the money but a lot would depend on that state of the boards. If they are unhacked then a lot of the other stuff could be fixable.

Thx guys. I've seen the non-working 1 on ebay just don't think I'd have the confidence in trying to repair it myself, wouldn't know where to start. Only fixed a dead diode on mine.
